WILL OR TRUST GIFT OPTIONS
Define a percentage of your estate to be given to Anderson Animal Shelter.
Define a dollar amount or a specific asset to Anderson Animal Shelter.
Leave various types of personal property.
Designate financial securities such as stocks, bonds, annuities or life insurance proceeds to the benefit of Anderson Animal Shelter.
Leave the remainder of your estate to Anderson Animal Shelter after all other bequests have been completed.
Leave real estate, which is only accepted on certain conditions and upon review by Anderson Animal Shelter.
Here is an example of suggested language to use if you are including Anderson Animal Shelter in your will or trust:
“I give and bequeath to Anderson Animal Shelter, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that is located at 1000 South LaFox Street, South Elgin, IL 60177, the sum of $___________, or__________% of my estate to be used for the accomplishment and any general purpose of its defined mission.”
You can also make a restricted bequest for a specific need or program, but please remember that needs and programs can and often do change in time. We will always accept a restricted donation even though an unrestricted one allows us more flexibility to fulfill our overall life-saving goals and mission.
