We believe that the human-animal bond has unlimited benefits for both people and animals. What better way to bring an animal into your life than adopting a pet in need of a home? When it comes to finding your new best friend, Anderson is here to help. Our adorable adoptables are all viewable on our website and can be met by scheduling an appointment with our Customer Service Department. While we cannot guarantee the health, age, breed, temperament, or training of any animal, we will do our best to provide you with full and accurate information so that you can make the most informed decision for your family. Anderson will also provide limited post-adoption support through our behavior hotline and limited medical support through our clinic to help you and your pet during the first few weeks’ adjustment period.
MAKING YOUR ADOPTION APPOINTMENT:
Step 1: Visit our Adoptable Dogs or Adoptable Cats page to view your potential pet. Make a note of the animal's location.
Step 2: Email the location where the animal is indicating your interest in that animal. (Please note, due to the volume of requests we receive, we are only able to respond to email inquiries.)

Step 3: If you would like to move forward, respond to the adoption staff's email to schedule a virtual meeting via Google Meet or telephone.
Step 4: Following your virtual meeting you will be scheduled for an in person 30-minute meet and greet with the animal. If you decide to adopt the animal the adoption will be processed and you will take your new family member home.
During your in-person adoption appointment, we ask that you follow social distancing procedures and bring and wear a mask. We will facilitate interactions in outdoor locations or indoors where a 6 foot minimum distance can be maintained.
Step 5: Start your happily ever after with your new pet!
We are continuing to require everyone who enters our facilities to wear a mask.
If you do not have one when you arrive, we will provide one for you.
Thank you for your cooperation.
*A maximum of three people will be allowed in the visiting room for each animal. All appointments are scheduled for one hour. Appointments are made on a first come, first serve basis and we are not able to accommodate wait list requests.
